My B-day

I'm finally 28 and its been a great month. My research is progressing quite well. I have a paper in press that should come out soon that I'm really excited to have out. It's one step closer to getting onto the next step. Nancy told me that she's a little stir crazy and wants to move on to something new and I wouldn't mind getting paid a bit more, so I agree! Research is tough and it gets tough day to day. I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do. I'm mixed between becoming a professor and working in Food Science.

Anne is talking up a storm. It's fun to hear her explain to us why she is doing things and to have her order us around all the time. She is a lot of fun. She is obsessed with Dora, the explorer and will talk about the characters and will tell us to repeat lines from the show.  June is beginning to sleep much more now which is wonderful. She can roll over, which is another fun thing to see. She loves to give big smiles and has a laugh that sounds like a cough, but which is so cute. Nancy is doing wonderful things with her photography. She has taken some great family and baby shots. We are also gearing up for some weddings that are going to be coming up. She is also doing a wonderful job of raising June and Anne. She does the most imaginative things with them. From home made bubbles to art and crafts, it's fun to see everything that they do. Nancy and I love to have parties and we have talked about how fun it is that we both enjoy the same things.

My birthday was a fun one. The night before, Nancy and I had a great party in which we invited a bunch of people. We had the classic nachos with caramel popcorn and carrot cake. It was great to see all the friends and have everyone get together. The night of my birthday, we got to go to fudruckers and get giant burgers. We got Elk and Buffalo burgers. We then got to play some games with the Greens.
