4 Year Anniversary

December 22, 2011 was our 4th anniversary. Scott and I ate out at Melting Pot and thoroughly stuffed ourselves. I enjoyed eating a long, slow dinner. We both liked tasting all the different flavors and trying out combinations of sauces and veggies and meats. My favorite was probably the fresh tuna just barely seared in the broth. And of course the chocolate dipping was fun. Our server was attentive and said he thought we looked like we'd been married about 3 or 4 years when we obnoxiously asked him to guess which anniversary it was. He said you could tell how long it had been by the width of the smiles!

The "traditional" anniversary gift for 4 years is silk or linen. Scott got me a beautiful silk scarf. I made him a linen embroidery of all our hands (Scott's, mine, Anne's, and June's). I'll have to show you some pictures sometime!

I AM SO THRILLED that I get to keep on spending my days and years with Mr. Jones. He rocks. He is my focused, hard-working man who knows how to party. I love him dearly.
