June and Anne have fun together

It was really fun this morning to see June and Anne having fun together. Anne was talking to June and that made June smile and kick her feet with joy. It's been fun to see how much Anne loves her little sister and how well they interact together. It's been a busy weeks, our family went to the Washington DC Zoo, the Baltimore Aquarium and we just got back from a great Christmas party. It's been a lot of a moving around, although we've seen some great things.

Anne and I loved the monkeys and the orangutangs. We got to be so close to them. Anne just squealed with delight to see the little things.
We got to ride around with our two girls. June had a lot of fun in the back just sleeping the day away.

Nancy had to take care of all of us because I hurt my back on the way there and couldn't lift anything! It was funny how Nancy came with two kids and left with three.

These are the two sides of June, she gets happy now, and she's also very serious sometimes (most of the time, with these kind of looks on her face.
Even though she was sick, Nancy still went with us to the aquarium. Anne was being quite the rascal, she was not at all really interested in the fish and wanted to see "animals". She was really interested in the bubbles that can up through these tubes, we spent way too much time at these. The aquarium was awesome though. We got to see a dolphin show and sharks, big turtles, spiny sea urchins and alligators. It was a great trip.
The ward Christmas party also happened. We went with our friend Becca and had a great time. Anne wanted to see Santa, but was pretty shy when it came to game time. At least he didn't send her down a plastic slide shouting "you'll shot you're eye out". The party was a lot of fun, there was a lot of good food and a lot of friends. So it's been of lot of fun times and we are more than excited for Christmas because I really think that Anne is going to get the whole thing and will rip open her presents and be excited. We are trying to get all injuries and sicknesses out so that Christmas is pure fun! We did have a sick free Thanksgiving, which was wonderful.
