It feels like we're real people now. I like being married. Here's the update on the last month and a half (which is the first month and a half of Jones-ness).
Scott has started hearing from graduate programs that want to interview him. So, we went to Denver in January to check out the program. We were wined and dined and we had a fabulous time in the sunny city. I enjoyed some shopping downtown in North Cherry Creek. I found these ceramic, white letters at this fun place called djuna. I had to dig through a huge basket of them to find anything other than "j"s or "1"s. Though, the letter J is really useful now. :) Neat place. They had cool murals and super innovative displays which included real tree branches installed in the ceiling.
Everyone I talked to in Denver really likes living there. Who knows? Maybe we'll live there too.
We also have a trip planned to Hershey, PA for his interview with Penn State. Then, Scott will go to Texas to check out the immunology program at Baylor Medical School. It's so exciting to think we could be anywhere this time next year.
Valentine's Day was a blast! Scott planned some superb surprises complete with candlelight dinner at home, super tasty food, and lots of flowers. Most fun in the scavenger hunt that he prepared were the watercolors (I've been wanting to paint lately) and the amazing petite fours pan from Williams Sonoma (I've been wanting to bake lately).

So, we painted pictures which I may post later, and we made cakes which were super cute and yummy!
I designed a cookbook cover for a binder of Scott's Recipes. I'll add category dividers in the coming months.
